ohmigod... had sucha long day yday-cum-today... only managed an hr's sleep in all.. met up wit 2 frenz fm sinz n said bye to em oredi.. sheesh... =( juz came back fm lynda's.. bunked in at her place after dinner n clubbin last nite.. n not to mention, i checked out fresh fer e first time e day before dat..

so, woke up pretty beat yday n met up wit suz to go pick up our baju rayas fm naif... while waitin fer e alteration aka tightenin til body-huggin of our bajus, went to get e sheesha my bro kirim-ed.. juz tinkin if i shld bring it along fer tmr or juz wait til raya.. hmmm... i've got sin-brissy tmr btw.. hahahahaha!!! din even rememba dat i'd sent e swap fer dat one... gave up gatwick, heathrow n bangkok... e uk flgts i dun quite care but i realised dat e bkk one wuz deadheadin back!!! chibai!!!! but nevamind, am so gonna make full use of e long flgts to escape e dreadery (is there sucha word?) in dubz.. but kinda wrong timing lor, coz evryone seems to be havin days off n not to mention e table mazen's havin fer peppermint... *(#@&!!!!!! i'm always doin silly stuff huh??

newayz, gave up waitin fer e baju coz i had to meet up wit faiz, who'd been waitin fm like 5pm.. n it wuz oredi 8 n e baju still not ready yet.. n e best part wuz, e traffic wuz practically a crawl!!!! after pickin up suz to go to naif, we got stuck... den after i went hm to leave e sheesha n all, i got stuck fer like an hr juz to go fetch faiz!!!! felt sooo bad... =/
den went round to pick farrah at renaissance n we headed fer culture village to haf a nice dinner.. after sittin in one restaurant, we left fer anotha.. hehehehe... so embarrassin!! but la kasba wuz nice, very chill n had sheesha... so there we were, me, faiz, farrah, lynda n nas, eatin n sheesha-ing n den started to talk abt ghosts n by e end of it, dat's when i decided to bunk in at their place... sheeesh... poor faiz had to leave coz he had a real early mornin flgt e day after, n it wuz half an hr past 11; e time i promised he'll be back by.. =P

so, fm there we headed fer boudoir, drank e free cocktails to get e kick n danced wit afida n her bulgarian bitch... =P missed dat girl lah... n i'm talkin abt afida of coz, not e bulgarian... but ard 2 we left fer malecon, juz next door n i hafta say it wuz a nice place.. only found it a lil too quiet lah.. i like e way e place wuz done up n oso e samba-ish kinda songs dey play... very havana.. nice... so, danced silly literally n had a crazy time.. n den 2guys came up n approached us n it turned out dey were s'poreans as well.. n one of em wuz amz, falz's cuz... (nic's batchmate)... newayz, dey joined in our lil silly dance n we were laughin so hard dat my cheeks hurt even while in e cab to zaatar... amz joined us there while his fren fazlin, i tink, left.. den alfred called up n asked us over to his place fer after-party.. it wuz so crazy.. sooo many ppl n all drunk n kinda too rowdy fer my likin.. only enjoyed alfred n lola (his gorgeous cat).. n of coz his 2 other s'porean frenz, sasha n suki...
so there we were, in a corner, eatin our take-away zaatar while e drunkards got into arguments n e couples in e grp were gropin n fondlin each other rite in front of our faces.. left early n made way to lynda's n it wuz so much better!!! not only is her place freakin amazin, she n nas had their own sheesha, so there we were, juz lepak-ing.. den came across 'city of gods' on one of e channels n decided to watch.. but; farrah went to bed, dat poor girl came direct fm e flgt to meet us n all.. den nas oso KO.. left me, amz; who hogged e couch n lynda; whom dozed off on e carpet, snorin away... funny sia!!! so in e end, i wuz e victor coz i wuz up til almoz 9 since i cldn't sleep at all... evryone wuz busy rechargin while i finished e whole movie.. coz e last time i watched it, i wuz squirmin so much n juz fast forwarded e violent part so i din really get e whole show lah... so proud dat i actually sat thru e whole show but i guessed dat's wat made me stay up coz i wuz pretty much disturbed by e whole violence n lawless-ness of it all.... eekks... aaarrgghh...

woke up, din bathe or brush teeth n ordered nando's fer lunch.. only nas din join us coz she wuz in e office.. so, 4 of us left, eatin n amz wuz spillin his guts out abt his luv-life... his ex, his current n all... he's still so obviously smitten wit his ex but i kinda thot it wuz juz too weird fer a guy to keep goin on n on abt e past.. kinda playin e sympathy card which wuz werkin initially but den kinda got bored lah after a while... sorry dude!! he's a nice guy, rather cute considerin his chinky looks.. (i loike!!) very decent n all but i tink he needs to figure out wat he wans b4 jumpin into a new rlsp juz liddat... coz we pointed out dat he's still in denial but he insists he's moved on.. i dunno lah.. i mean, my own luv-life or e lack of it isn't exactly a fairy tale so who am i to advise e lovefool?? =P
well, he left ard 4 fer his soccer which i wld haf luved to see but i dun tink i've got enuf energy..

den, e sweetest part of e whole long day wuz when lyndz cried after sayin gdbye to farrah.. awwww... din noe dey were so close n dat she cld be so emotional... poor baby... felt so sorry fer her... so, hopefully farz cld get more dubz flgts.. hee!!! i'd be lookin forward to dat! =)

e past few days..[ 1:25 AM ]

so.. wat haf i been up to fer e past few days?? hmmm, met up wit shams in kl.. dat girl's got a new shop, 'caprice suits'!!! someone's a lady boss now!! wishin her all e best.. felt really nice to catch up wit her.. she's still e same, as bubbly n cute as eva.. missed her so much but as we noe, i'm not very gd at expressin my affections.. hee... browsed thru her weddin album n i really wished i had attended her special day.. felt so bad fer not bein there... =( but e pics were all so nice n both of em looked so blissfully happy.. can't wait fer their babies! confirm damn cute!!! newayz, liza wuz oso in kl at dat time, so a bunch of us had lunch togetha.. shams, indy, kak shaheen, azura n of coz liza.. thing is, liz's gettin married in nov n azura's soon after... so, all e talk abt marriage kinda bored me after a while.. i tink it's e season or sthg.. i mean, it's like evryone's takin e vow to end singlehood... sheesh.. feel so left-out man... =P

den, on e 26th, tried to cook fer e first time... not really e first but first to cook fer others lah... so smangat, went to lifco to buy e chix n stuff.. it wuz s'posed to be juz 3 of us roomies n suzi.. no biggie, so plan wuz to make fishball soup wit su'un (dat how u spell it??) but den farrah msgd sayin she wuz in town.. since i cldn't go out to meet her, invited her n lynda over... n e whole werld is so freakin small, it turned out dey noe ross (rainy's hubby-to-be) so 3 of em came n i wuz so freaked out!!! pressure wuz certainly on! but apart fm burnin my omelette, evrythin else turned out rather well.. i mean, it wuz edible n no one complaint of food poisonin so far.. hahahah!!! den we all juz lepak-ed n talked n established e connections we din noe we had between some of us.. as i said, e werld is freakin small... unfortunately cldn't go fer e nite's out wit em coz i had a nairobi e day after... hmph!!

talkin abt dis nairobi flgt, i really dun see why we need an sfs at all sometimes!! can u believe e nerve of e guy we were werkin wit?! he actually asked ME to do e galley while he goes out wit e bar.. wtf?! who's gettin paid to do wat?! at first thot he wuz jokin ard n den he really pulled e bar cart n left e galley.. so fucked up rite?? sucha contradiction his stupid name's innocent... huh! my ass!!! so me bein me, once i dun like someone or u offend me somehow, i juz refuse to talk or acknowledge u n i tink i wuz bein rather obvious abt not talkin to him.. n dey were all makin plans to go out fer dinner n shit liddat dat while i juz declined any invites n cooped myself up in my disgustin room e whole of my layover.. how happenin!!! but of coz, there's e flgt home which i hafta whine abt as well... dis time, a kenyan bitch wuz e sfs... n i dun fancy werkin wit em coz dey're either lazy or dey rule wit an iron fist.. dis one wuz lazy.. fuckin lazy to e point i felt like volunteerin to do e galley fer her... sucha mess n wuz sooo disorganised but i had to stop myself fm helpin out much coz it's so not fair to make us do yr job fer u while u purposely do it painfully slow n u're still obviously hungover fm yr wild party e nite b4!!! really makes me wonder wat kinda ppl dey choose to promote n lead us.. lead by example?! fer sure!!

newayz, woke up so early yday to once again drop by e uniform store fer my new uniform... once more, i came back empty-handed!!! hafta do e freakin alterations n can only collect on e 6th.. wtf!?!?!?! tink i've been goin there fer like 4times now n still haven't got e full set.. n it's not goin-out clothes mind you... it's werk uniform fer cryin out loud!!! ran into nnic there n took e cab back home.. suz came by a lil later n we headed fer fmr.. like finally!! hehehe... ran into harlz n salz downstairs n dey gave us a ride to e otha side.. dey were goin to burjuman, again!! shoppin queens lah those girls... den, rainy n ross oso happened to be lunchin at fmr so we were all seated togetha, enjoyin e meal n chattin n laughin so much.. rainy pointed out suz's 'pelatness' when she speaks malay n den somehow, evryone turned pelat as well.. not on purpose, it juz happened... =)
dropped by n.bar to do my nails but there wuz no slots available so we ended up at my place coz e weather wuz makin us sooo lazy... den dat nnic had company, she'd invited her frenz over so dey were all in e livin room n i felt kinda upset coz i wanted to watch tv n i had guest over as well n i felt bad fer suz coz we were stuck in my room... decided to go to e pool after e sun set coz i'm definitely dark enuf n suz doesn't fancy e sun much newayz... spent half an hr in e sauna, sweatin profusely like there's no tmr n happily releasin e toxins.. heee... den headed fer e pool n simply soaked there fer a bit... went back to my place n ordered BK n den she had to leave coz i wuz meetin salz to go check out fresh.. it's been there fer weeks n it's like only my first time goin there.. plus, faiz, my fren wit sq wuz in town as well so there we were, salz, alfred n his fren suki, faiz n his fren roger... all in fresh.. dun really like fresh dat much tho.. it's juz a big open hall which salz said reminds her of some skool prom or sthg, held in e skool hall.. hahaha!!! had a gd time but water or rather drinks splashed on me a total of 3 times thruout e nite.. 2 glasses broke rite beside my feet n wet my shoes, on 2 separate occassions.. n while seatin on e chair, i tink roger flicked his arm n dropped e bottle of heine on e table which splashed onto me.. so there, i MUZ buy 4D.. confirm first prize one... muahahahah!!!!
den as usual, stopped by BK, but i wuz too full fm e meal wit suz dat juz e sight of e fries made me wanna hurl.. sheesh... said our gdbyes after e meal n me n salz walked home while e rest took their cabs...

so, tonite, farrrah'll be back in dubz n we've all planned to do sthg.. let's see if i'd get splashed again huh??

can't sleep.. perhaps tinkin too much abt wat happened.. i noe i'm not dat kinda girl.. or at least i hope i'm not.. how cld i compromise sthg or someone rather, whom i mite slightly be attracted to by doin wat i did?? why now? i've been here like 20mths now n nothin liddat has eva happened.. at least not wit my consent.. n there's no one fer me to share my innermost thots wit.. hmmm... i really am lonely huh...
newayz, flew wit dis guy.. found him rather cute.. not e boyband material kinda looks but he had a charm abt him.. a lil chubby but hey, i like my men fleshy.. heh!! =P only thing is, as i said to min juz now, is dat his apparent shyness or lack of courage to flirt wit me openly can mean two things.. he cld either be really, really shy n can't summon enuf guts to be throwin himself at me in front of evryone else... hmmm, on one hand, i feel lonely n e longin to haf a significant other's been buggin me mercilessly... on e other, i tink i'm not up fer e constant callin n reportin strength part of bein in a relationship... wit all e constant worryin n tinkin of dat person, wonderin wat he's up to, if he's behavin n all..
still, it doesn't help dat i'm surrounded by ppl who're blissfully in luv n wat-haf-yous, coz it really makes me want to be involved wit someone even more... n u oso haf e rare occassions when i'm at someplace romantic n i juz wished dat there wuz someone special there to share e moment wit... so, one moment i wan someone, n den e next i dun..
gawd... don't i sound like a seriously confused n fickle person?? i guess i am...
n i guess i'm not prepared to get emotionally attached either?? coz it takes a lot fer me to fall in luv wit somebody, but when i do, it's really head over heels, constant loyalty, one-man woman fer me... n nope, ppl in relationships are not my cuppa tea... i dun like to share.. so sistas, yr men are safe... =P

my big, fat greek affair...[ 1:56 PM ]

still revellin in my greek experience... nope, i din go to mykanos, n nope.. not even santorini.. but, we did go fer e 1-day cruise to 3 islands off athens.. but let's be chronological okie? so, e flgt took 4 hrs plus n we finished service in like record time.. coz all of e girls were pretty much seniors in economy n evrythin went witout a hitch.. no lazybones n no bitchin.. if only all flgts were exactly like dat.. as in havin nice crew n nice flgt time n nice destination part.. =)

so, we checked in n took e met downstairs to take e shuttle to e city centre, called plaka... e shit thing wuz dat i wuz late so e bus left wit peter (capt) n em (gr2) who went ahead to acropolis... where i wuz so dyin to go!! e rest of us, 6 in total, had to take 2cabs down n simply wasted e day wonderin down e streets n attemptin to shop.. attemtptin bein e keyword coz u noe when u're in a big grp, u're on e clock n not many ppl are too keen on waitin fer u.. which is why i totally prefer to explore by myself but i din wanna be rude coz dey waited fer me anyways.. =/ den, we split into 2grps, simply becoz we juz lost each other n me, bassint n ann ended up in a cozy greek cafe.. i had moussaka.. been dyin to try e authentic dish n i hafta to say, it wuz gobsmackin delish!!

even e grilled zucchini wuz nice n i'm absolutely not a fan of veggies to begin wit.. den, some more wanderin ard, stopped by e quaint HRC b4 we caught e shuttle back..

had to haf an early nite coz we were doin e cruise thingy e next day.. but of coz my screwed up body clock refused to co-operate n i ended up sleepin only ard 1am!!

came down to e lobby ard 7.15am, waited ard fer e sleepin beauties n finally made our way to e tour agent e concierge had picked fer us.. had such high expectations coz e word cruise made me imagine those big ass cruise-liners but in e end, it wuz juz a lil ferry, sthg like e one we took in cairo fer dinner.. sigh~ when will i eva get onboard e cruise ships proper??!

still, it wuz nice, 4 floors, wit 2 lounges fully air-conditioned which wuz such a relieve coz e weather wuz so freakin hot... in fact, i reckon i'm definitely 2 shades darker now... add dat to e venice tan i got, it makes 5 shades fm wat i wuz previously? even tho i slathered on e sun block, it din really do any gd.. it's juz me!! coz evryone else were not affected but there i wuz cookin to a burnt shade under e merciless sun!!!! hmmph!! so newayz, had some entertainment on board as well, greek band performin, greek traditional dance thingy.. n i hafta say, e guy playin e traditional 'guitar' instrument wuz rather cute.. nice green eyes, perfect golden skin n not to mention his big-build.. swoon~ it felt like he wuz playin e music juz fer me.. n he definitely had magic fingers to give Slash a run fer his money.. heee....

first island wuz poros..

landmark bein e clock tower n we all were like a herd of sheep, climbin up e steps to e vantage point where e tower wuz.. took loads of nice pix up there.. n wuz totally breath-taken by e beauty of e place... it wuz so serene, clean n soothin to e eyes n senses.. kept fantasizin livin there... dat wld be e life!! took pics fer pete n he returned e favour by takin mine.. hopin dey turned out nice!! hahaha!!! he's sucha sweetheart.. dunno if he's taken coz he did mention sthg abt an ex-gf whom i so remind him of.. hmm, is dat a compliment?? or not?? newayz, he's sucha happy spirit n it definitely rubs onto u n it's these kinda ppl dat are so worth yr time to be ard wit coz their happiness spread like a bug.. a nice bug u wun mind bein bitten by.. anyhoos, went back to e ferry n were served lunch.. it wuz rather nice coz i wuz actually expectin sthg lesser but it wuz a nice surprise dat e food wuz actually decent..

next stop, e island of hydra.. a lil bit more commercialised, all e cafes along e pier n e big brand names ard.. but e water wuz as clear as newly manufactured glass n as blue as blue can be... went thru e alleys, explorin once more n den headed to e 'beach'..

e 'beach' in question is simply a rock face where there's a flat area to sunbathe in n den there's e pool-steps kinda thingy attached to e face of e cliff.. really interestin coz i had e impression dat it wuz wit sandy shores proper but i guess different ctries, different idea of beaches.. u make do wit wat u haf hey? so tempted to jump in but besides e fact dat i din haf my bikini on, i dunno how to swim.. so there! i muz really do sthg abt it.. damn......

an hr plus later, we were on e island of aegina.. paid 24euros to go fer e classic tour of e island n were driven up to e st.nektarious (aka saint nectar coz he wuz e miracle healer n he's oso e one n only saint to be cannonized fm greece) cathedral.. went in but sadly, it wuz under renovation works so not much of a beauty.. went into e tomb area where e body lies n got kinda freaked out.. juz e freaky feelin i had.. apparently, if u pressed yr ears against e coffin's lid,

u'd be able to hear e saint still breathin.. did i try? no way, jose!! dat's like a sure-fire way fer me to run far,far away fm greece n i'm not abt to do dat yet.. not b4 i reach santorini.. not b4 i get my greek god... muahahah!!!
den went further up to e temple of aphaia..

came back to e hotel n me, pete n em headed out to plaka again fer authentic greek food.. no way i'm gonna order rm svce.. after all, it is my first eva athens after like 19mths?!? i'm gonna savour evry single moment of it.. make e most of it! had gyros n tzatziki (yoghurt wit sliced cucumber n herbs dip).. wuz simple yet fantabulous!! tinkin of e warm pita bread makes me drool rite now.. din hurt dat e company i had wuz great as well so a great end to a great day i muz say..

next day, went out at 1pm to haf a quick rush to e acropolis but ended up on a chop-chop tour ard athens.. visited e olympics stadium.. yupz, e original one.. where e first eva olympics game wuz held.. den, to e government house (nope, not in satwa.. =P) n wuz juz in time to catch e changin of e guards.. it wuz so cute.. sthg i'd neva thot i'd see but it wuz definitely an experience.. felt so lucky dat i managed to catch it.. it's all on vidz btw so i wuz defintely at e rite place at e rite time.. (kinda reminds me of my moscow trip...=)) e big-rankin guy in charge of e guards wuz sooo hot! n he wuz so nice.. asked me if i liked his country n i wuz like singin praises of it like a big-time fool... wateva happened to bein aloof n actin cool?!? sheesh.. put me in front of a hot guy in UNIFORM and all u'd get is a big mush of droolin n blabberin-gibberish-spoutin fuckwit... arrrrgghhh!!!
tankfully, my cabby saved me further embarassment n took me to e acropolis.. din go all e way up coz i needed to be back by 2.30pm so he wuz so nice, he led me to socrates' prison..

which is rather hidden n i'm guessin not dat many ppl actually even noe of it's existence.. it wuz juz a short walk fm e parthenon but it's kinda hidden away fm view unless u really walked into e trees.. it blew my mind juz tinkin dat generations ago, a rather important figure in history spent his final days there b4 dyin of poisoinin at e place where i wuz at.. i mean, juz walkin along e streets, any streets in any part of e world fer dat matter, makes me imagine how it wuz like centuries ago, when greece, rome, wat-haf-yous wuz like civilisations ago.. but dat's juz me.. i tend to let my mind run wild.. too much.. too often.. i den checked out e church juz across e prison but too bad, it wuz closed.. really quaint lil building but i'm sure it muz be rich in history as well... well, ran outta time so had to make my way back to reality n back to e hotel.. really wished e layover wuz much longer than it wuz.. din feel like leavin at all.. =P

but dat's my job.. u try to appreciate e ctry u're in but dat's not always possible.. granted, i'm lucky to even be there in e first place but it's rather cruel when u tink of it fm my perspective.. i mean, yes, i am there but do i actually get e chance to fully absorb e ctry's presence? it's culture? it's history? n of coz, it's cuisine?? nope! coz wat u get is a mere 24hrs stay in dat place.. n dat 24hrs starts fm e moment u land.. so, minus e time u need to go thru customs, take e transport to e hotel, n not forgettin e 4hrs u need to prepare b4 headin off fer e return sector, u're down to a gd 18-19hrs.. if u dun need sleep like any normal ppl wld, u're pretty well-off coz in dat 18-19hrs u can do loads, trust me.. but, after bein on e beck n call of 300plus ppl in a pressurised cabin on such an altitude, even 8hrs sleep feels like mere minutes.. so, u can definitely say dat it's a touch-n-go kinda affair fer us.. wun even be able to scratch e surface of e town much more e country.. it's sucha cruel joke i tell u.. esp when u get flgts which transits in yr own ctry, wit u not even bein able to step off e aircraft.. how cruel can dat be?!

n we stayed up til so late or rather, early in e mornin, catchin up on gd ol times n bitchin ard of coz.. heee..
at least now i can relax n not worry abt havin a stranger movin in instead.. =)
well, i'm not gonna lie n pretend dat nothin happened n dat there wuz neva any bitchin on my part but i'm stayin positive even tho some peeps were askin if it's against my better judgment considerin e 'bad blood' btw us... n i noe dey're all juz concerned if there's gonnabe any bitchin etc in e future but in all honesty, it's all bygones n so over dat i truly wiped e slate clean.. true, i did haf some strong opinions wit regards to wat happened btw us, n we neva did get along famously but i'm hopin things wun worsen either...
i mean, i'm still frenz wit esta, if anyone needs to noe.. n e things dat went on btw us both wuz even bigger.. so, i shan't let some petty misunderstandin get in e way n fer those waitin wit bated breath fer e next drama, i hope no one turns blue.. hehehe... i'm prepared fer any criticism hurled my way n haf been so e moment i extended e invitation of e move.. so, juz try to be supportive okie?

oooh.... so excited rite now... got e 2days athens flgt later in e mornin n can't hardly wait... juz checked out e lonely planet website n now i'm like even more excited than eva... plannin to check out those famed islands n juz learnt dat mykanos is apparently e gay capital of greece... tanx fer e head's up! i wldn't wanna be droolin over men who wun even bat an eyelid even if i were to flash at em... not dat it's part of my plan... but hey, since i can't get my italian stallion, why not settle fer a greek god den??
but i digressed... oso found out fm dat trusty website dat e lost city of atlantis is s'posedly in santorini, anotha island off athens.. oooh!!! juz e thot of it sends shivers down my spine.. but, it's all a plan.. god-willin, i'll step foot there.. othawise, there's always days off.. i mean, athens is juz like less than 5hrs flgt fm here.. no biggie... =) in any case, i'm prepared to fall in luv wit dat place...

hmm, been a busy bee fer e past 2days.. mostly hangin out at chainani's shop.. but it's a real sthg fer someone who's always rottin at home okie?? had 3days off n spent all of it chillin wit suzzanna aka minah satwa... kwahkwahkwah.... first day wuz spent watchin gd ol p.ramlee vcd n dined to home-cooked instant fried rice.. =P
den yday wuz a real blast... had sucha loooong day but i especially enjoyed checkin out dhadkan, where i finally got to meet up wit liza n abas after sooo long.. it's dis indian niteclub which has a stage, where u haf girls dancin to e bollywood songs etc... sthg like a cabaret if u will... e biggest eye-opener wuz e fact dat e men in e audience wld actually throw money (in e form of cards) fer e performances onto e stage... it's like money literally droppin fm e sky... n these cards aren't all dat cheap mind you... it's probly 10dhms per piece but dey dun throw a mere 5-10pieces... dey chuck e whole stack.. perhaps by e hundreds?? n dey keep askin fer more... e amt a single dude threw cld probly cover my credit cards bills n yet it wuz as if he cldn't care less how much money he wuz throwin, literally... it's interestin coz i kept tinkin of those hindi movies (like devdas fer eg) where u haf e dancer girl performin in e audience of high-profile n powerful men; who throw money at em to show their appreciation of e dance or perhaps simply fer their beauty?? (me n suz were like totally oglin at e hot girls.. it wuz as if dey juz came outta some bollywood film.. i'm serious!!! so gorgeous.... both of us sounded so lesbo... LOL!!!) wateva itis, i kinda felt dat it wuz a tad disrespectful.. sure, it's a nice thing to get paid fer yr performance, but to get e money thrown at u???! dat's sthg i wldn't be able to get used to...
