juz a quickie..[ 3:49 PM ]
i'm still at work now, tryin to finish up evrythin so i can leave dis place ASAP.. so dis will hafta be rather short & sweet.. been meanin to post my thots for the last few moments of 2008 & resolution (or lack of it) for 2009... all i noe, i'm lookin forward to e fireworks display later on, to usher in 1st jan, once more.. keepin my fingers crossed dat i'll get a better view compared to last year's & keepin my fingers crossed both of us won't flare up like last year as well.. =P 2008.. hafta say it's been eventful.. left emirates.. still haf a tinge of regret over dat.. working at a new place now, after my stint with e animals over at nite safari.. (miss dat place... =/) got engaged, still plannin for e big day.. so, i'm totally welcomin 2009 with bated breathe.. hmmm, kinda distracted rite now, with e colleagues making it feel like it's a forex here... *grrrr* guess dat's abt it for now... wanna wish all e beautiful souls out there a very happy new year & may all be blessed with health & happiness always... it's off to haf dinner with e family den... =)
story of my life currently; work,sleep.. wake up, work,sleep... wake up, work, sleep... n repeat...... but i guess i learnt sthg abt myself during e trainings.. (which juz passed e 2nd wk n movin into e third)... i ask questions.. as in, when i dunno, i dun keep mum.. not like last time.. coz to ask questions wld deem me stupid.. but i figured now, dat if u dun.. u ARE stupid.. afterall, trainers are there to impart their knowledge and if i dun seize e opportunity to be stupid during training, it's not gonna help if i'm lost on e job... ho-kay.. i sound like i luv my job oredi.. far fm it... i dun even noe it yet so i can't profess any feelings right now... i'll keep u posted soon...
had fun at velvet last nite tho... too bad cldn't get to see steve aoki.. but hey, we did get free entry thanks to ade's affiliation to e weddin held at velvet.. tho dat free chop isn't like e normal velvet coverage.. =( anyways, i guess one must be damn loaded to hold a wedding bash there.. n e groom apparently was so.. he has 6 cars! n he was so wasted lah.. hahaha!! but damn, how come i neva get to meet any filthy rich guys? no fair!! saw skinny patricia mok n toothy ericia lin.. can i be a mediacorp star too? pls? i'll be e chubby, chunky fidah.. hahahaha!!! all in all, we did haf a blast, lotsa kissing going on... it's all abt e lurve.. =P jaz n kath only came in ard 11.30-ish.. i luved e eyelashes gunglue!! n it wuz so good to see kath again after soooo long.... tina wuz sleepin by 2, n i sent her off to take a cab... girl, u need to pace yrself wit e drinks.. skulling is fun i guess but not 4 drinks in a row.. plus, u're more fun when u're awake.. =) ade wuz high, n kissy-kissy all over george... wendy wuz nuts for e tokyo guy, but got caught in e act by her bf, bobby.. n not to mention, she fell off e high chair... max, e cute german turns out not gay n has a gf back in munich.. n hao's world wuz spinnin n he won our game.. he got 2 drinks bought for him... n i had none.. but he got the drinks from max ( hence e gay suspicion..) so i dunno if dat shld still count..
still haven't post abt ade's wedding over last wkd.. but it is a lazy day......... n i'm too lazy to even charge my dying lappy..... =P
